Mashanda Lazarus is both a published editorial illustrator and fine artist working in textile sculpture. She has a BFA in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design where she has returned to teach. Mashanda lives in Los Angeles with her dogs, Kip and Choco. Our Raccoon Stories exist because of one fateful afternoon when Christy saw Mashanda on an episode of HGTV's House Hunters, and had a sparkly feeling that Mashanda was the right artist to bring Raccoon to life. This is the first picture book series for both of them.
